The cook was given the order of trying to make a tart marmalade while still fulfilling our mandate of 60% rescued fruit. This is the result and our British customers agree that it tastes just right. Tart crabapple juice and very tart Seville oranges. 60% of the fruit used is locally 'rescued' crabapple juice. This product is sold in a 250 ml jar. The 40 ml jar is part of a gift pack of jams.
For festive occasions we spice up this marmalade by adding Irish Whiskey. Ask if there is still some stock if this is off-season.
All of our products contain a minimum of 60% ‘rescued’ fruit and many have 100% rescued fruit. We do not use artificial flavours or colouring and when additional liquid is needed, we use fruit juice we make from our local fruits.
